Sound Reduction Hood contain One-piece Sound Reduction Hood and Fabricated Sound Reduction Hood.
Sound insulation hood is an advisable and effective noise reduction measure, which can enclose the device with higher noise to effectively impede the outward transmission and diffusion of noise, and reduce the effect of noise on environment. Sound level difference between internal and external sound insulation hood is 20-30dB(A).
Sound insulation hood shell is generally made from metal materials with a certain weight and rigidity, and usually adopts 1.5~3mm thick galvanized steel plate and stainless steel plate, etc. A layer of damping layer can be set on the plate to reduce the vibration of plate, and improve the sound insulation property of sound insulation hood.
As for the equipment which needs heat dissipation, necessary ventilation duct should be reserved on the sound insulation hood. This duct must be provided with silencer. Equipment process and maintenance requirements must be met during the design of sound insulation hood. For example, chain hoist is set in the sound reduction hood for equipment overhaul use.
Sound insulation hood is mainly applicable to the equipment which needs noise reduction, e.g. air compressor, natural gas compressor, diesel engine, gas turbine, steam turbine, motor, water pump, fan and other noisy equipment.
One-piece sound reduction hood is a sound reduction hood that the whole hood or main structure is fabricated as a whole, in which steel structure skeleton, wall and roof are generally fabricated as a whole, and silencer, sound insulation door and sound insulation window can be fabricated with main body of sound reduction hood as a whole, but also can be separately fabricated and then assembled on the site.
Fabricated sound reduction hood is a set of noise reduction equipment that all components of sound reduction hood are prefabricated in the factory and then assembled on the site. Transport: one-piece sound reduction hood has higher transport requirements, and must be transported as a whole since it is fabricated as a whole. However, there is superwide and superhigh risk, and the space in the hood can't be reasonably utilized, so more space is wasted, and transport cost is higher.
Universality: one-piece sound reduction hood has stronger targeted design, and can only be used for noisy equipment or those with very close overall dimension.

Laboratory
As the key environmental protection laboratory in Sichuan Province, our acoustical laboratory covers 521 square meters, and is composed of reverberation chamber, sound insulation chamber, silencer dynamic evaluation laboratory and impedance tube laboratory. The laboratory now is the largest noise control technology and acoustic material research & test center in southwestern China, and leads domestic noise control field. Silencer dynamic evaluation laboratory now is the largest silencer test platform in China.
Our laboratory is designed by architectural acoustics design team from Tsinghua University based on relevant national standards and by reference to well-known acoustical laboratories at home and abroad. Main measurement instruments are manufactured by B&K, Denmark (a measurement instrument manufacturer ranking No.1 in the world, and providing noise and vibration solutions). The laboratory conforms to the testing conditions of CMA (China Metrology Accreditation), and has issued the reports conforming to CMA requirements for customers, and especially plays an irreplaceable role in the development of new productions and the detection of product quality.
Our laboratory has established a resource sharing and advantage complement relationship with several institutions, e.g. Architectural Physics Laboratory of Tsinghua University andAcoustics Institute of National Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology, etc., and does business with them in product R&D, performance detection and other fields.
